Animal Planet, is a decades old brand that celebrates the entire spectrum of life in the animal kingdoms.
Over the years, growing with audience sensibilities, their content had changed from being action and danger driven to being more empathetic and sensitive. Their communication at the time was not in sync with this evolved philosophy and programming slate.
They came to us to reposition Animal Planet India, announcing the new Brand proposition of “Animals are like Humans”, thereby evoking empathy among audiences
We proposed an edgy, unusual theme using opposing qualities, built around the idea of a “common ground”; what humans and animals share in common. The brand refresh aligned the visual design system with their content; creating a dynamic, brave yet tender, new Animal Planet.
