In mid 2022, SONY SAB intended to rebrand itself, to reflect the change in its content genre from comedy to wholesome family, as well as align itself to the new global visual system for Sony Entertainment Television network.
The challenge here too was doing the rebrand exercise while not alienating loyal viewers, as also the inclusion in
the Sony Entertainment environment which had a distinctly slick, western aesthetic, while still keeping SONY SAB warm and Indian at heart.
We designed a vibrant visual gallery that felt joyous and optimistic. The layers of colours represented the gamut of emotions that build a family. Warm and welcoming, the design now offered an expansion to the fun, comedy content indicating that SONY SAB had a richer and wider range.
