Year 2024
Creatives – Illustration, Projection mapped film, Animated videos/explainers for various galleries in the Museum
The Abhay Prabhavna Museum, inaugurated in November 2024 is a mammoth and sprawling endeavour by the Firodia family (one of India’s oldest and foremost industrialist families and owners of Force Motors) to bring the histories, ideologies and values of the Indian tradition as expressed in Jainism.
The numerous galleries cover beautifully articulated traditions, philosophies, the cultural and social relevance of these values.
We designed and developed films for 8 galleries and a set of illustrations. The challenge was to translate the rich, century-spanning, esoteric principles into visually tangible narratives that were informative, immersive, beautiful and illuminating.
Each gallery required a different approach, tailored to convey complex philosophies in a way that felt both accessible and deeply moving. The ultimate goal was to design experiences that didn’t just educate, but invited viewers to pause, reflect, and perhaps, leave transformed.
